Version 1.4 is still in beta test. Maybe, this release will be out in next week. In version 1.4, bat logo will default to off, and biggest update is Qslice function (same as in jelly bean 4.1 rom).
About sound problem, some people stated that they solved by flashing ACID Audio Engine sound mod version 5 in XDA.
